MORE ABOUT AEGIS SERVICES |
|
A thorough assessment is conducted by one of our Clinical Care Managers to determine client-specific needs and special requests. From the assessment, a personalized care plan is developed. Physician, client and family may also participate in the development of the care plan. The Clinical Care Manager then manages and coordinates the clinical team who will provide the in-home care. The care plan is monitored closely and adjusted as needs change.

Aegis philosophy includes regular supervision of our home care staff. After our Clinical Care Manager develops an individualized care plan and client directives are put into daily practice, our team of supervising nurses is routinely in the field assuring the plan of care is appropriately implemented. All in-home nursing and aide staff are supervised in the home during the provision of their care so that all standards of Spinal Cord Injury Care are maintained. |

As part of the health care team, Aegis works collaboratively with life care planners, case managers, primary care physicians, physiatrists, psychiatrists and client direction to develop an individual, specialized client care plan.

Aegis exceeds standards for training and supervision set by National Private Duty Association and the National Association of Spinal Cord Injury Nurses.
